Workspaces & Organisations
In Emalc, a Workspace (also referred to as an Organisation) represents an independent boundary for all your email marketing and delivery operations.
When you sign up for Emalc using your company email address, your initial workspace is created automatically.
Multi-Tenant Data Isolation#
Emalc is architected from the ground up to support businesses with multiple brands, subsidiary ventures, and marketing agencies managing multiple client accounts.
Every workspace provides strict, enterprise-grade data isolation:
- Complete Data Isolation: Contacts, subscriber segments, custom sending domains, and campaign drafts are private to each workspace. Data is never shared or cross-contaminated across workspaces.
- Dedicated Billing & Credit Wallet: Each workspace maintains its own email credits, wallet balance, transaction history, and VAT/tax invoices.
- Independent Team Access: You can invite team members, contractors, or clients to specific workspaces with granular role permissions without exposing other business accounts.
- Unified Account Login: Manage all your companies and client projects using a single login account.
Switching Between Workspaces#
Switching between different client accounts or brand workspaces takes a single click from anywhere inside the dashboard:
- Click your active Workspace Name at the very top of the left sidebar.
- The workspace dropdown switcher will open, displaying all organisations you belong to.
- Click the target workspace name.
The dashboard immediately reloads the selected workspace's campaigns, domains, analytics, and subscriber lists. The currently active workspace is marked with an Active badge.
